Moin moin to all Yeah, black is printed, the Bride of Pinbot playfield are now finished printed. Proud of my boys, they printed these alone for the first time. I’m at home curing my back. Wow, record time and very very nice printing result. Now the next step is to finish the milling. 1 milling machine is free, we will start on Monday. Yes. Just dealt with this same issue on my #machine-bride-of-pinbot recently. Turned it on one day and 4 of those tantalums burned up. Ended up replacing all the tamtalums, voltage regulators, and the amp. All good now.

Good choice! The pinsound gear is amazing a real game changer. The basic downloads are a good start, but you want to play alot with the shaker routines to get a better in depth immersion. Like on my Bride of Pinbot I have exact timed heavy thuds for the heartbeat on metamorphosis ..it's unreal. And on Mad Max the whole machine rumbles on ball in shooter lane like your in the v8 intercepror.

Bride of Pinbot issue: When the game is over, and there is still one ball locked below the head, the ball releases at the same time the head is rotating to its first position; the end of game sounds go silent and there is no sound as the machine goes into match cycle. It seems as though the rotation of the head coupled with the firing of the coil is causing this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

This is a 'gotcha' problem. I can't think of any other black microswitch in pinball that is wired normally closed. Bride of Pinbot's head position is the only one. So it's to your credit that you carefully wired this correctly. That you second guessed your work, wired it wrong, and then went back and wired it right is just part of Bride Of Pinbot. That's a very common repair story on this machine. Good work!

Hi. This Bride of Pinbot machine suddenly stopped working. The main functions seem to work in test mode, so the ball gets released in to the shoot out lane and I can operate flippers etcetera. I cannot start a game in the normal way, because when I press the start button nothing happens and ball is not released into shootout lane and the flippers won’t work. Any advice? I changed all the fuses. Is there a troubleshooting list I can get access to? Thank you.

Documenting Matt’s @mattg #machine-bride-of-pinbot playfield swap. It’s a nice original Mylar but getting a new Buthamburg playfield. It will get new ramps, upper playfield, faces, playfield protector, Cliffy’s and plastics. He already has rings and LED’s so will be a pretty simple like for like swap that will get cleaned along the way. The plunger knob on my Bride of Pinbot machine broke. So I bought a replacement. When I just went to remove the old one, it won't come out! There is a flange on the end that is preventing it from slipping out the front. Am I missing something? How did they even get it in there in the first place!? Does somebody know the part numbers and where to get them? Cliffy does the ramp entrance protectors which seems to be all that's missing, although that's had a few "add ons" to fill the gaps. You might want to consider replacing the ramps themselves also. Something I did come across… reached a high score to replace the preset # 4, entered my initials but it didn’t count. The game keep the factory score. Yeah, that was there before. In The Machine: Bride of Pinbot, anyone know what 'Used in Helmet" refers to when going through the light T6 General Illumination Test? Nothing illuminates when I run this test. As far as I know, it is NOT the 16 lights around the face on the playfield, because they light up separately ("T15 Helmet Light Test"). My Bride of Pinbot and my Taxi machine both shock me a little sometimes while touching the outside metal. They both have grounding pins on the plugs though. I always figured something inside must not be grounded correctly, I have checked for loose wires or anything touching metal that shouldn't be and come up empty. It never occurred to me to check the actual power plug. I wonder if that could be it.
